Uganda, is found in East Africa, boardered on the west by Congo, on the north by the Sudan, on the east by Kenya, and on the south by Tanzania and Rwanda. Although generally equatorial, the climate is not uniform as the altitude modifies the climate. Rwanda is a small country in the heart of Africa, with a total area of about 26,338 sq km, slightly smaller than Maryland State in the USA. It is about 10 times smaller than Uganda. Today, Rwanda is peaceful, prosperous and inviting. The country has three (3) national parks - Nyungwe Forest Park known for its large size and a vast army of chimps and monkeys; Akagera National park for game, including zebra, giraffe, antelope, buffalo; and Parc Nationale des Volcans where Dian Fossey dedicated her life researching the celebrated gorillas. Congo is a land of wonder and amazement. At 2,267,600 sq. km Congo DRC is the second largest country on the African continent after Sudan. We mainly take travelers to do only two tourist activities in the relatively peaceful regions: track the mountain gorillas at Djomba (via Uganda or Rwanda); or visit the Nyiragongo live volcano (via Rwanda) and visit communities. Burundi occupies a high plateau divided by several deep valleys. It is equal in size to Maryland. The government and the rebel group Forces for National Liberation, which was the last rebel group to engage in negotiations, signed a cease-fire in May 2008, signalling finality in the 15-year civil war and the start of a new era of tourism.......

Unless otherwise stated, prices quoted include a safari car for the itinerary stated, accommodation on a shared basis and meals (in Kampala/Kigali/Bujumbura bed and breakfast only and on safari full board), 1 boat/launch trip, park fees, chimpanzee permits and one gorilla permit. At the time of booking, the client(s) will need to pay for all gorilla permits needed in full otherwise a deposit equivalent to 30% of the cost of a safari paid, whichever is higher.
Prices do not include airfares to Uganda/Rwanda/Burundi/Congo, entry visas and airport taxes, all personal expenditure such as tips, telephone calls, laundry and drinks. For single rooms, the supplement (SRS) has to be paid.
