I booked the Presidential Suite at Barcelo in Puerto Vallarta. I had reserved this room level before, and it’s something to behold. This room was actually quite different from the previous one and on the opposite side of the resort and on the top floor and the penthouse.
An incredible 180 linear feet of wrap around decking with a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean and nearly 3000 square feet inside. You have the VIP check-in and private lounge, which is quite convenient for so many things. The weather was grand, and the resort was hopping with guests and weddings.
From the suite, you can see the entire resort and observe everything. I have to admit, the food was first class and the drinks superb. The Italian restaurant was outstanding and also had a great meal in the open air restaurant overlooking the water.
For lunch, the grill has incredible wood oven pizzas and traditional Mexican food as well. The breakfast buffet has virtually anything and everything you could possibly ask for. I found the banana smoothies to be out of this world. The service and staff recommended us a cozumel bonefishing trip, and another pleasant surprise was the fitness facilities are world-class.
It’s one of the most beautiful gyms you will find at any resort. I am an avid fitness buff, and I was more than pleased. Overall, just a lovely retreat to spend your precious vacation time.
Thank you so much, Barcelo! We started off to a rough start, not going to lie. My mother in law had bought membership points and was not given the correct prices for the rooms. After being thoroughly disappointed, the Barcelo staff did whatever they had in their power to make our stay delightful.
They upgraded my mother in laws room and the staff within the resort’s restaurants, treated us great. Specifically, Hermilo Arechiga, who always made us feel welcomed and found any way to make us happy. Thank you so much Hermilo, for helping us feel satisfied and content with Barcelo Puerto Vallarta’s service. If you would like excellent service ask for Hermilo Arechiga!
